Protect Your Passengers

The Pro-Vision Gen2 Stop Arm Camera uses three built-in cameras to automatically detect and record illegally passing motorists and their vehicle license plates. When these motorists are issued citations, violations are reduced improving student safety.

Features

Superior Low Light Capture
With infrared illuminators built-in, the Gen 2 Stop Arm Camera can better capture plates of illegal-passing vehicles during the dark early morning routes.

Compact, Low-Profile Design
Significantly smaller than other options, the Gen2 Pro-Vision Stop Arm Camera eliminates any concerns about it sticking out, getting hit, or failing to meet a state inspection.

Capture all the Evidence
Instead of just capturing front license and rear plates, the Gen2 camera captures a third wide-angle video and the metadata, including the unit number, location, time, and more.

Computer Vision Integration
The camera uses computer vision algorithms to determine when illegal passing occurs and to evaluate the video recording for the most readable and clear images of the license plates for ticket enforcement.

Integrated On-Board Video Solution

For a fully integrated solution, you can connect the stop-arm camera to an on-board Pro-Vision DVR with other interior and exterior cameras for a comprehensive video solution.

How it Works

  1. Illegal pass occurs
  2. The computer vision algorithm detects violation and three cameras begin recording the events two seconds before through two seconds after the violation occurs.
  3. Wide Angle Video event is saved to the large capacity solid-state drive or SD Card in the DVR unit
  4. Computer vision algorithm reviews plate footage from front and rear plate cameras and selects the ideal frame for reading the plate and saves to DVR with Wide Angle Video.
  5. Vehicle returns to bus yard/garage
  6. The DVR unit connects to the internet via on-site Wi-Fi Access Points and uploads event video to Pro-Vision’s CloudConnect web-based video portal for sharing with law enforcement, or images and video can be shared with an integrated automated ticketing solution.
