High-definition in-cab monitor can display up to four cameras simultaneously.
Byron Center, MI — Aug. 9, 2022 — Pro-Vision, a leader in mobile video solutions, announced today it released a new 10-inch touchscreen monitor capable of displaying up to four cameras at once.
Featuring a 1080p high-definition resolution, users can easily switch from a four-camera view to a single-camera view with a swipe. The 10-inch monitor joins the 5- and 7-inch models in Pro-Vison’s lineup, which are more geared toward smaller vehicles with less available cab space or for those who need less than four cameras to cover their blind spots.
“Drivers will experience increased visibility with our new 10-inch touchscreen monitor,” said Matt Lehnert, Pro-Vision’s vice president of engineering. “For context, many monitors for personal vehicles range from six to eight inches. This monitor provides a clear, crisp picture of up to four cameras, so you’ll be able to see all sides of your vehicle to avoid accidents.”
The monitor allows the user to set custom and pre-set trigger priorities, meaning a left- or right-side camera automatically displays while using the corresponding turn signal, and the rear camera will display when the vehicle is in reverse. Additionally, parking lines can be configured on the rear camera view to match your vehicle.
