Pro-Vision Releases AHD Heavy Duty Camera Bracket

Heavy gauge steel provides further protection from debris, snow, dirt and rain.

Byron Center, MI — Sept. 7, 2022 — Pro-Vision, a leader in mobile video solutions, announced today it designed a protective bracket for its AHD Heavy Duty Camera.

The new bracket provides added protection on the top and sides of the camera from debris, snow, dirt and rain; it is made of 1/8-inch galvanized sheet steel that is zinc plated and power coated.

A heavy duty camera bracket

“While the Heavy Duty Camera is designed to withstand harsh environments with a commercial grade design, IP69 waterproofing and a five-year warranty, some of our customers operate in environments where the camera requires added protection from physical damage that this bracket provides,” said Matt Lehnert, Pro-Vision’s Vice President of engineering. “Our cameras are critical to safe and efficient operations for our customers, so the extra protection is a worthwhile investment.”

For that mount, their rear-facing cameras above the hopper, the bracket shields the camera from garbage and other debris that falls from the dumpster, keeping the lens clean and protecting it from damage.

The bracket is a great option for trucks that are susceptible to falling debris in mining, construction, concrete and other similar industries.

The AHD Heavy Duty Camera, generally used as a backup camera for large commercial vehicles, features 1080p high definition video, 130° field of view and night vision functionality.
