PRO-VISION School Bus Stop-Arm Camera Approved For Use in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation names PRO-VISION® HD Dual-Lens Stop-Arm Camera as an approved solution to capture video evidence of vehicles that illegally pass stopped school buses

Byron Center, Mich. —Dec 18. 2019 —PRO-VISION® Video Systems, the proven leader in mobile video technology, announced today it is now an approved school bus stop-arm camera vendor for the state of Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) approved the use of PRO-VISION® HD Dual-Lens Stop-Arm Camera on school buses to capture video evidence of vehicles that illegally pass buses while the stop arm is extended and red lights are flashing. To earn PennDOT approval, the camera had to pass a rigorous multi-step evaluation including performance and quality testing.

After posting record sales in Q3 – with July and August being the two highest revenue months in the company’s 16-year history – sales rose 26 percent for October 2019 compared to October 2018 to open Q4.
