PRO-VISION to Showcase Industry-Leading Tech at Michigan Law Enforcement Conference

Local company to feature latest advancements in mobile video systems, software at Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police (MACP) Conference

Byron Center, Mich - Feb.1, 2019 — PRO-VISION® Video Systems, the proven leader in mobile video technology, will showcase its latest advancements in mobile video technology for law enforcement at the 2019 Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police (MACP) Winter Conference at the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids on Feb. 6-7.

“We’re excited to show law enforcement in our home state how our products can make their jobs easier and safer,”

said Andrew Beach, director of sales & service at PRO-VISION®.

“We’re committed to providing the best technology at an affordable price, and we can’t wait to show how our products are the most Reliable, Simple and Affordable in the industry.”

Among the latest advancements that will be on display at Booth No. 133 include the enhanced In-Field Tagging feature for SecuraMax™ by PRO-VISION®, a CJIS-compliant digital evidence management software that offers both cloud and self-hosted versions. The enhanced feature allows officers in the field to instantaneously apply the same tags – such as a specific incident tag — to videos captured by both their PRO-VISION® HD In-Car Video Systems and BODYCAM® BC-300 body-worn cameras.

PRO-VISION® will also showcase the new Covert Mode enhancement for its BC-300 body-worn camera. The new feature – which is available with a free firmware update – turns off the recording status lights with a simple push of a button when an officer is in a situation that may require it, such as when an officer is chasing an armed suspect. This helps to increase officer safety as those lights could serve as a target for an armed suspect.
