Company History

2003

PRO-VISION® Video Systems is incorporated in the state of Michigan and begins building rear vision systems for commercial fleets.

2005

We introduce the single camera School Bus Video Recording System to the market and file the patent for the PRO Series™ Xtreme Duty Camera™.

2006

Our National Factory Installation team is assembled, and annual sales exceed 1 million dollars. Factory Sales Representation becomes available throughout North America.

2007

Our Commercial Vehicle Video Recording System enters the market and PRO-VISION®ships its first system outside North America. The PRO Series™ Camera Light™ patent is filed.

2008

The two camera School Bus Video Recording System enters the market.

2009

The Solid-State SD Card Video Recording System and Four Camera School Bus Video Recording System enter the market.

2010

The Generation II Solid-State SD Card Video Recording System is released, along with Live View and Wireless File Transfer features.

2011

We relocate to a 2.4 times larger facility, and Inc. magazine ranks us as one of America's fastest-growing private companies.

We enter the Law Enforcement Video Market.

2012

Inc. magazine ranks us in the Top 100 fastest-growing private manufacturers.

Engineering staff increased by 200%.

Gen II Live View and Wireless File Transfer features and first PRO Series™ Camera Light™ enter the market.

2013

Ten Years

Inc. magazine ranks us the fastest-growing video system manufacturer for the third consecutive year. Named to the Michigan's 50 Companies to Watch® Companies.

Launched BODYCAM® brand of body-worn cameras. PRO-VISION® celebrates 10 years of producing jobs, creating products and delivering quality service.

2014

We rank on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies for the fourth consecutive year.

We are first to market with 8-Channel 1080p HD Solid-State DVR.

We more than double our sales staff.

2015

PRO-VISION® becomes an Inc. 5000 five-time honoree and debuts its Digital Wireless Camera technology for commercial fleets.
