Byron Center, Mich. &emdash; August 16, 2018 - – PRO-VISION® Video Systems, the proven industry leader in mobile video technology for law enforcement, has released a new feature to all new and existing BC-300 body-worn camera models. This Covert Mode feature turns off the recording status lights when an officer is in a situation that may require it.
PRO-VISION® strives to listen to its customers when building and improving on its products. Agencies communicated to PRO-VISION® that body camera lights are a potential safety hazard at night, since the status lights could provide a target to an armed suspect. In these types of situations, officers can simply press a button to disable the lights. This feature is available to all existing BC-300s with a simple firmware update and is on all new models.
“We continue to listen to our customers’ needs and develop products that meet and exceed them,”
